Hackers hid malware in CCleaner software

Hi Yoga Bear Customers –

News is spreading today that hackers have successfully attached Malware to the popular CCleaner software that so many of us use. CCleaner, owned by Avast, has been downloaded over 2 billion times.

If you have CCleaner, we recommend uninstalling it for now and running some malware scans on your computer. It has always been a good product, so once the dust settles and we see how this all shakes out, there should be a day when it is safe to install again.

As always if we can be of any assistance to you in regards to computer repair or IT services in the Sacramento area, please do not hesitate to contact us.
